Alaska Raffle Permit #111004
We are a nonprofit group passionate about the conservation of wild sheep. Our vision is for Dall sheep to occupy their current and historic ranges in Alaska at, or near, the carrying capacity of the habitat. We aim to achieve our vision by enhancing wild sheep populations, promoting scientific wildlife management, educating the public on wild sheep, and protecting and improving sheep hunting and viewing opportunities in Alaska.
Since 2014, the Alaska Wild Sheep Foundation has donated over 3 million dollars back to the State of Alaska to support Dall sheep conservation projects. We aim to continue supporting Dall sheep in Alaska through our fundraising efforts, and aim to ensure that wild sheep are on the mountains for future generations to enjoy, whether through hunting or conservation. Our membership and Board is made up of a diverse group of wild sheep enthusiasts. Whether the passion for sheep is there from hunting, photography, or a general appreciation of nature in its wildest most rugged form, we are all here to conserve wild sheep in Alaska.
